On April 30, 2025, Son Tien Eco-tourism Area (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province) officially became the venue for the largest national-scale Hot Air Balloon Festival ever in Vietnam. The event attracted tens of thousands of visitors, marking a strong shift in Dong Nai's strategy for developing festival tourism - large-scale events.

With dozens of hot air balloons released simultaneously into the sky, the Festival created a spectacular scene where colors and aspirations converged. From early morning, thousands of people flocked to Son Tien to witness and experience hot air balloon flying – one of the most anticipated tourist experiences during the April 30 - May 1 holiday this year.
